Velg Forged vs Velg Semi Solid Forged

Cetakan pertama diberi tekanan 5000kg/cm sq. lalu ditutup dgn cetakan kedua dgn tekanan 3500kg/cm sq. (Rays Engineer). Kalo semi-forged itu biasanya cuman center/palangnya doank yg di-forged. Sori kalo kurang2 soalnya masih belom dalem ilmunya heuehehehe...!

Kalo beratnya gw gak tau.

    FORGED OR SEMI-SOLID FORGED
    CNC Mill
In forged wheels, computer numerically controlled
(CNC) mills add the cosmetics and the bolt circle to exacting tolerances.

The ultimate in one-piece wheels. Forging is the process of forcing a solid billet of aluminum between the forging dies under an extreme amount of pressure. This creates a finished product that is very dense, very strong and therefore can be very light. The costs of tooling, development, equipment, etc., make this type of wheel very exclusive and usually demand a high price in the aftermarket. Semi-solid forging (SSF) is a process that heats a billet of special alloy to an almost liquid state and then the aluminum is forced into a mold at a very high rate. The finished product offers mechanical properties very similar to a forged wheel without the high production and tooling costs of a forged wheel. When low weight and performance are on your priority list, the SSF technology offers an excellent value. Currently only SSR (Speed Star Racing) from Japan is licensed to use this process for the production of wheels. Read more about semi-solid forging technology.

    Semi-Solid Forging (SSF) Manufacturing Technology

Extracting the best qualities of casting (unlimited design possibilities) and forging (lightweight and high strength) and combining them in the uniquely new mass production manufacturing process of SSF.

so, forged itu justru metode pembuatan velg yg paling kuat en ringan, tp juga paling mahal. Untuk desainnya jg limited banget, Solusinya ya dibuatlah metode semi-forged, dapet bbrp keuntungan velg forged, desain yg lebih banyak tp dgn harga yg lebih murah.

    intinya:
kalo duit berlebih, ya pake forged wheel
kalo dana nyekak (kaya g), ya pake yg biasa2 aje

    - Try to make your system beat the next guys!? In the end, it is still going to be an opinion -

forged lebi enteng, lebih gengsi karna lebih mahal..tpi cepet peyang..
klo semiforged biasanya lebih berat tapi lebih ga cepet peyang..karna partikel2nya padet dibnding forged..
