    Vehicles used:
    2006 BMW 325i Sedan

    Car and Driver tested 11 of the big names in street tires using The Tire Rack's on-site test track and BMW 325i test vehicles. Over three days, wet and dry tests were performed to determine the best overall performance tire.

    Goodyear's Eagle F1 GS-D3 "takes performance to new heights" and gets the top ratings while Continental's ContiSportContact 2 and Yokohama's ADVAN Neova AD07 take second and third place, respectively.

    yah jgn di bandingin sama kondisi di indonesia deh..
    beda iklim.., di sana bisa bilang Michelin Pilot sport bagus.., tapi di indo malah ga enak , en kurang traksi..
    malahan bagusan RE711..
    beda deh soal kompon jgn di samain kalo bisa..

    yah kaya ibarat F1 ajah tiap track beda negara ajah punya formula sendiri2 pada pabrikan bannya..

    Masalahnya, ada gak tester independen yg melakukan real test semacam itu di sini? Saya pikir hasil tes tsb lumayan bisa dijadikan patokan. Apalagi ban-ban yg dites tsb memang dijual juga di negara kita.

    Paling gak dari hasil tes majalah Car and Driver tsb, F1 GS-D3 yg dibilang bagus di track basah cukup mewakili negara kita yg sering banget diguyur hujan. Dan... F1 GS-D3 didukung oleh Goodyear Indonesia yg notabene bukan cuma distributor ban. Tentunya kalo sampe ban tsb dimasukkan ke negara kita udah diteliti dulu kelayakannya.

    bingung juga gw ... di Indonesia mah yg penting :

    1. harga murah (prioritas utama)
    2. tahan lama / ga cepet rusak
    3. Treadwear, traction & temperature grade
    4. merek
    5. run flat tire, compound, dll (uda ga dipikirin kaya beginian)

    menurut gw sih kaya begitu yah di Indonesia .... untuk pemakaian sehari-hari ...

    kalo untuk balapan sudah beda lagi masalahnya.
    maaf kalo ada salah kata2.

    kalo testnya diluar indo sih ga jamin sama hasilnya kayak kondisi indo.. bener bgt tuh kata takumi, apalagi suhu aspal di indo tuh yg bener2 tinggi.

    hehehe... betoel kata bos takumi tuw. iklim di indo sama di luar negri jangan di samain pak.. barang2 no.1 di luar tersebut belum tentu the best klo pakai di indo. beda cuaca soalnya. makanya type2 ban ada yg untuk all season ada yg summer ada jg untuk musim dingin... beda2 coy....
