    Bore Up ato Stroke Up???

    temens2, nih gw pengin nanya masalah sepele sih..
    kok di indonesia lbh banyak yg modif internalnya make cara bore up ya (kyk oversize piston)???
    sdkn di luar negeri kalo yg gw liat2 dan cari info lbh banyak maen di stroker kit (stroke up)...

    emg lebih efektif di bore up ato di stroke up sih???
    trus kalo di bore-up ada toleransinya ya...

    sorry neh masih cupu..

    tergantung blok mesin maksudnya???
    ambil contoh pabrikan2 jepang ternama (u name it) pasti punya paket "stroker kit".... misal dari 2000cc jadi 2200cc yg isinya piston (diameternya tetep), cuma setang sama cranknya beda... setangnya lebih panjang..

    blom pernah liat gw ada paket "bore kit" ato naekin diameter piston....

    Kalu mesin di bore up, jarak antar silinder jadi makin kecil Dim, akhirnya resiko liner pecah juga lebih besar. Makanya lebih aman main di stroker (langkah). Kalau mau pahe bisa substitusi punya mobil lain. Kaya daku, bisa pakai kruk as dan stang seher punya mBal 1600cc atau vitara/escudo. Kalau mau lebih gawat, bisa pakai punya escudo 2000 (j20A), tapi harganya juga gawat. Lagipula, standar is the best lah...

    tergantung mesin loe gimana ? let say honda k24, itu strokenya udah long banget so udah chance kecil buat nambah panjang lagi stoker kitnya and biasanya long stroke car produce lebih banyak torque.
    klo mo ganti internal ganti piston bisa oversize juga tergantung loe maonya brp ma compresiionya brp, cuman klo oversize gitu biasanya harus liat dulu clearance spacenya trus harus ganti2 yg laen kayak conrod, ato crankshaft yg bisa match ma pistonnya.
    biasanya juga harus dibantu ma better cams ma better valve spring. Gainnya sih pasti more than bakalan satisfied banget plus ecu tuning.

    nih lg pengin tau aja kok fenomenanya di indonesia make bore up semua.... beda sama di luar yg lbh byk produk2 stroke up (bkn berarti bore up gak ada)

    teorinya sih stroke bwt nambahin torque...
    cmn gw blom pernah liat lgs perbedaan 2 mobil yg sama yg satu di bore up yg satu di stroke up lbh bagus yg mana...

    satu hal lagi, kalo di stroke-up, otomatis ukuran diameter piston ato cylinder bore ga berobah. jd scr ga langsung, stroker kit itu termasuk kategori 'add-on', dmn lebih 'ekonomis' dibandingkan harus papas silinder.

    just my thought.

    bloody damn expensive labour!!!! disini (di nz), ada info dr temen gw, kl mo P&P head B18C type-r kena skitar NZ$350 and 10+hrs of labour. think about it... roughly it will be $35/hr for the labour cost. damn high....!!!! a computer programmer have lower rate than that. except if he's a professional programmer. but a professional P&P will cost more than that... more than $1000, i reckon.
