    yang gw tau, supercharger itu diputar oleh pulley mesin jadi dari idle tuh dah nyala. supercharger biasanya ngeboost dr putaran bawah ke tengah. klo turbocharger itu nyala dari putaran tengah ke atas, jadi klo pake turbo putaran bawah kayak ga ada apa2 tapi pas kena boost-nya kepala lo bisa nempel ke jok lo..

    turbo=sistem kerja nya ambil dari gas buang, dan biasa nya maen pada rpm tengah sampe ke atas. supercharger= kerja nya ikut ama pulley mas alias dia bekerja pada saat mesin berjalan, kalo soal tenaga, lebih besar turbo cuman kalo turbo gak reliable buat sehari-hari di sebabkan tenaga nya yang "mengagetkan". kalo supercharger, tenaga nya gak seberapa gede. Gara2 dia kerja nya mulai rpm bawah, maka supercharger pun lebih reliable buat sehari-hari, cuman tenaga di rpm atas rada gak kerasa mas

    nope. gw ga tau kl proxima kyk gituan masuk kategori apa. tp yg jelas bukan turbo ato supercharger.

    turbocharger = driven by exhaust (gas) pressure
    advantage - doesnt use engine power, driven solely by exhaust
    disadvantage - limited to exhaust gas pressure; will have turbo-lag; put restriction on exhaust.

    supercharger = driven directly by the engine by connecting crankshaft pulley to the supercharger pulley.
    advantage - more direct response of power; power curve increase through out the rpm band thus no lag
    disadvantage - using some engine power just to run the turbo; heavier system; not widely available as compared to turbos.

    DISADVANTAGES:
    SC limited in boosting..
    no lag but going to decrease in power when it driven long enough, or in summer time even if cooling kit is installed
    sold only as a kit and it is more expensive then turbo (atleast) custom turbo

    tambahan buat turbo
    DISADVANTAGE:
    power comes later not very instant
    turbo lag, but it can be cure
    installation is a bit more difficult compare to SC installation
    gue pernah ngebahas topic seperti ini disini..
    perhaps the SEARCH will come handy?

    kalo supercharger ama turbo charger di pakek secara lgs, sudah pernah di pratekin di mobil subaru amrik 2500cc, kit nya sekitar 100jt, dan power di claim 600 hp dengan zero lag.

    sudah ada bos di mobil produksi masal.gw lupa kalo g salah di vw GTi deh(CMIIW),dia pake dual charger di mana di rpm under 3000 dilayani SC,di atas 3000 lsg ganti sama TC,sistem mekanisnya gw g tau pasti,pas pergantiannya itu diatur sama ecu dan berlangsung sangat cepat sekali sehingga pengmudi g berasa,cuma resikonya kalo di ganti turbonya pake seri kompetisi,"katanya" c bisa lagnya berasa bgt,dan penggantian dan instalasi seluruh komponen2nya susah setengah mati.
