    Mo nanya beda mesin VVti-Vtec-EFI-iDsi

    Master-master mesin yang berpengalaman tolong gue mau nanya ne...
    Apa sih beda antara mesin-mesin VVti punya Toyota, EFI, Vtec dan iDsi punya Honda perbedaan cara kerjanya di mana ?
    Tolong yach teman-teman gue pingin tau secara detail apa bedanya.

    vtec n idsi lihat artikelnya yg sgt jelas di website vtec: asia.vtec.net
    efi itu kepanjangannya Electronic Fuel Injection, jd semua sistem injeksi bahan bakar secara elektronis sebenarnya merupakan EFI.
    vvti teknologi toyota yg serupa vtec.source websitenya aku blm cari.

    vtec: variable valve lift and timing electronically controlled (honda)
    efi: electronic fuel injection
    vvti: variable valve timing - intelegence (toyota)

    g jamin, pertanyaan selanjutnya pasti vvti-l, mivec, vanos, vvc, t-vis, etc etc. bleh... research bung.

    eniwei, vtec itu alter bukaan katup dgn pake 3rd lobe di camshaft mereka. as the results, more air/fuel goes into the cyl thus more power.

    vvti altering the fuel supply in terms of advancing or retarding the valve operation by rotating the cam accordingly. also, ignition timing will be altered accordingly.

    efi is the injection system that runs electronically. unlike earlier injections (found in 70's benzes) that use mechanical system that made up the injection. for example, u can see quite a lot of diesels still using mechanical injection system. incorporated parts: mechanical high pressure fuel pump, governor, etc etc. bosch is the early company that commercialise both mechanical and electronic injection system. remember bosch k-tronik & j-tronik systems?

    ehm friend..dr smua yg merangkum ttg VTEC,VVTi,VANOS,MIVEC CVVT dll itu kesimpulan nya itu semua variable valve timing.trus ngom2 bisa ga VAFC dipake di mesin VVTi ato laenya gt hehehe?.sory if its a stupid question

    yep..... same sh*t different name. hahahaha.

    vafc (i refer it as piggy back from this point onwards), dipake buat semua mesin yg pake komputer buat ngejalaninnya. ie: semua efi systems pasti pake komputer buat meter jumlah udara yg masuk, jumlah oksigen yg tersisa di pembakaran, posisi piston, etc etc.

    research bung, kl lo tanya pertanyaan yg udah diulang berjuta2 kali, dan ngarepin kita buat selalu bisa jawab, where's the fun on it? go to 'temple of vtec' or 'popular mechanic' or various places on the web that actually explain everything about cars. di mod.com juga udah ada diulas banyak.

    VAFC is not for all engines, only for Honda's VTEC engines. And it's job is to change the VTEC timing point, not for fuel/air. That's SAFC's job.

    Buat VVTI, Power Enterprise ngeluarin CAMCON yg juga fungsinya sama, control timingnya vvti...
