    POWER INTAKE

    The Power Intake is the premier air filter designed to create pure horsepower. The intake funnels used in racing machines take advantage of a characteristic where air travels along the side of the side of surfaces. However, the center portion of the funnel is virtually unused. It is this concept that gave birth to the Dual Funnel design. A primary funnel on the top portion of the air cleaner was inserted to channel the air flow directly into the lower funnels at the base of the cleaner. This design was a huge success on the former Super Intake model. The Power Intake took this design and improved the flow characteristics.

    Some manufacturers of performance air filters make aggressive claims about their filter's ability to make power, but leave out the fact that their filters are not effective at filtering dust and dirt. Consider the wear and tear that will result from insufficient filtration. The Apex Power Intake filter element is engineered to minimize air flow restrictions without compromising its ability to filter contaminants from the induction air stream. We proudly expand the usage of the Power Intake filter element by incorporating it into a line of drop-in, factory-replacement filters.
    The Power Intake is dry-type filter and is trouble free. Some of the problems associated with wet type cleaners, such as oil sticking to the air flow meter, are a thing of the past. The Power Intake is basically maintenance free. Filter replacement, when necessary, can be done at a very low cost.
    Filter life has been tested to operate over 25,000km (15,000mi) under normal street driving conditions.



    NOTE : This filter is designed for use as a dry-type filter. Do not apply filter oil to this filter as it was not designed to utilize such oils. Water, cleaning solvents, and other liquids may damage the filter and must not be used to clean the filter.

    The Apex universal muffler series is the perfect choice for those who want to fabricate a unique “one-off” exhaust either for a race car or a custom street car. Now, the racing heritage and performance power of Apex can be felt on practically any vehicle.     Super Silencer

    The Super Silencer is the most effective way to lower sound output caused by a straight through racing exhaust system. The Silencer has also been shown to actually increase mid-range torque in some vehicles. On average, the Super Silencer will lower exhaust noise output by approximately 7dB.

    GT RADIATOR CAP

    The GT Radiator Cap is a high performance replacement cap designed to provide 1.3 Kg/cm3 of pressure. This allows for higher cooling system pressures which raise the boiling point of the coolant, creating greater cooling efficiency.     AFC NEO PIGGYBACK COMPUTER

    The AFC Neo marks the newest edition to the world famous Super AFC line of piggy back fuel controllers. Building upon the powerful AFC Neo, the AFC NEO has taken piggy back style fuel control to a new level. The AFC Neo boasts an incredible 16 points of user definable fuel correction. VTEC control has also been incorporated for Honda/Acura applications. A complete monitor mode is also available to keep the driver/tuner informed of critical engine data, such as: RPM, throttle, battery voltage, correction %, air flow%, pressure (kpa), and karman sensors.

    AVC-R BOOST CONTROLLER - BLACK

    The AVC Type-R is a digital boost controller that allows the user to modify the boost pressure level on turbocharged vehicles. While there are many boost controllers on the market, none of the other includes as many features as the AVCR, period. Despite all of the complex features included the unit, the AVCR is flexible enough to be used by beginners. Entry level users need only to input a desired boost level and the AVCR's trademark self learning CPU processor does the rest.

    The AVCR also uses a highly durable, fast action solenoid valve to physically control the boost . The valve movement (Boost Duty Cycle) can also be modified. Raising the duty cycle increases boost response, while lowering the duty cycle will slow boost response. This feature allows boost response adjustment for varying turbo sizes. Since larger turbos take longer to spool up ( bad low end response) the duty cycle should be raised under lower RPM's for better response. The opposite should be done for smaller trubo's ( excellent low - mid range response, but limited top end power.) Apex engineers address this issue by including extra menus for RPM based boost control. Drag racers may want to utilize the Gear based boost control function. Aside from the basic functions above, the AVCR has a Start Duty Setting ( allows the boost to momentarily overshoot according to gear).

    The AVCR also includes a Scramble Boost function which allows the user to momentarily raise or lower the boost level at the push of a button. Raising the boost level is commonly used when an extra burst of power is needed (ex. entering a freeway). This feature can also be used in drag racing. The driver can set the main boost level to a low setting for maximum traction then, once full traction is achieved, the scramble boost can allow the vehicle to boost full power.

    The AVC-R displays data in three different modes: Numerical, Analog, and Graph. Numerical Mode allows the user to monitor up to four different parameters in numbers and also shows peak hold values on demand. The Analog Mode displays up to two values in an easy to read meter style display. Peak Hold is also included in this function. The Graph mode offers real time graph plotting with a Ghost map trace feature built in. The graph can replay movement up to 60 seconds.

    REV SPEED METER (RSM) BLACK WITH BLUE LED

    The new Rev/Speed Meter GP is a complete multi function measuring device designed to measure and monitor data such as vehicle speed, engine RPM, and elapsed times. However, the strength of the new unit lies in its differences. Probably the most obvious being its completely redesigned look.

    The new unit also delivers a host of new functions. Standard features include:
    Engine RPM, Vehicle Speed, Travel Distance and Battery Voltage (All which can be displayed in real time graph mode, numerical mode, or analogue mode; 1-4 channels at a time.), Peak Hold, Replay (With 60 second playback.), Speed Limiter Cut, 0-100m, 200m, 400m times with trap speed, 0-100km/h, 200km/h, 300km/h times, 100km/h, 200km/h, 300km/h – 0 times, user defined Mid Range Acceleration, Stop Watch functions, Best Time Memory, RPM Warning, Speed Warning, RPM and Speed Outputs (For external devices requiring an RPM or speed signal.), Tire Size Correction (For acceleration and timing accuracy.), and Vehicle weight input.








    One of the most exiting of the new features is the option to utilize the revolutionary A’PEX G-Sensor (Sold separately.). The G Sensor allows the unit to measure G forces in 4-way front/rear/left/right directions. This data can be plotted in a graph display to map acceleration characteristics and lateral G’s on the race track, or used in an array of new features including: Highly accurate 100m/200m/400m times with trap speed and wheel-spin correction, Horse Power Calculation, and Loss Power Calculation. By taking advantage of the optional G Sensor, the user can produce extremely accurate acceleration measurements. Usually, when measuring acceleration times using the speed sensor signal alone, the meter will end measurement too early (shorter distance) due to wheel-spin. Using the G Sensor modifies the speed sensor signal, compensating for wheel-spin and producing impeccably accurate acceleration times.






    AUTO TIMER - BLACK WITH RED LED

    The Apex Auto Timer allows the vehicle to idle for a preset amount of time after the ignition key has been removed. In turbocharged vehicles this prevents hot oil in the engine from coking up in the lines. Hard driving can raise engine oil temperatures to dangerously high levels. Proper cool down is essential for a healthy turbo and engine.

    The Auto Timer stands as a technological marvel. The pen shaped, compact size makes the Auto Timer one of the smallest turbo timers on the market. This allows a clean and stylish installation virtually anywhere inside the car. The unique multi angle joystick button allows easy navigation through the many feature menus.
    Upgraded in every way from the previous model, the new Auto Timer can automatically determine the necessary amount of idle time. A Manual Mode allows the user to preset desired idling times from 0 sec.~10 minutes in 16 increments. By inputting O2 sensor voltage, the Timer can also display theoretical air fuel ratio. Since the Auto Timer uses the factory O2 sensor which is primarily designed for emissions, the readings may not be as accurate as facing air fuel ratio monitors, however Timer readings are very close. The Timer can also display critical data such as O2 sensor voltage and Battery Voltage.






    EL II SYSTEM GAUGE METER

    The EL II System Meters are the newest addition to the EL Meters lineup. The 60mm System Meters utilize a main control unit which constantly monitors the movement of all of the gauges. The control unit can activate the memory replay, warning, and peak hold functions with just one touch. The synchronized memory playback function was designed exclusively so that drivers did not need to individually start each meter before a race. A high speed CPU processor ensures accurate monitoring every time. The main control unit can accommodate up to 6 meters. This gives the user unprecedented flexibility to decide what type of meter to add and how many. All meters come with a multi angle stand to allow easy reading from any vantage point. Since the main processor is not inside the meter itself, A'PEXi engineers were able to slim down the meter casing so that it can be mounted virtually anywhere inside the cabin. The high speed control unit processor also eliminates excess wires between the meter and unit. When all 6 meters are installed, driver can access comprehensive measured data for the run.

    Characteristics:
    - All meters can be collectively managed by the control unit.
    - By connecting fuel pressure meter and boost meter, the differences in pressure is visualized.
    - The digital network can connect up to 6 units.
    - The small, light weight design allows the unit to be mounted basically anywhere in the car.
    - Embedded with memory replay, peak hold and warning functions.
    - Data is backed up even when the battery is disconnected.
    - Installing bracket is included.
