SOLD to Mr. D di Samarinda, thx.
Tampak depan
Bawahnya sengaja ga dipoles supaya tetep kelihatan aslinya.
Kelihatan hitam pekat, tapi kalo disenter tembus, kristal warnanya kaya coca cola...
Ini yg gedenya(blm dijual dulu loh, tapi kalo harga ok ga papa, hehehehe)
Utk yg minat nti sy PM harganya, kalo mau cepat sms aja (08159900097) thx.
Ini ada penjelasan ttg batu meteor dari internet, cari aja bnyk koq.
Summary of Billitonite Formation:
1) Around 780,000 years ago a large asteroid impacts in Indochina (possibly in the Bay of Tonkin). The asteroid travelled from a NNW to SSE direction and impacted at a low angle.
2) In the early stages of impact, the kinetic energy of the impacting asteroid melts and passes momentum to surface layers of terrestrial rock (such as sands and shales) at the impact site.
3) The melt sheet, comprising molten terrestrial rock, leaves the atmosphere and breaks into molten tektite ‘globules’. The globules form spheres, dumbbells or teardrops depending on the speed of rotation.
4) The Billitonite spheres, dumbbells and teardrops cool rapidly, so rapidly they form a glass (same, but not as pure, as in a modern wine or beer bottle).
5) Five/six or so minutes after impact the now solid sphere begins atmospheric re-entry over Belitung.
6) As it re-enters at high velocity the friction of the tektite with the atmosphere heats up the anterior (front).
7) When glass is unevenly heated (big difference between temperature at the front and back) it breaks. Think of pouring boiling water into a drinking glass.
8) Glass shards spall off the front of the Billitonite. Breakage is aided by intense deceleration pressures.
9) The Billitonite’s inherited cosmic velocity is eventually reduced and spalling ceases.
10) The Billitonite falls to Earth by gravity in a more vertical path.
11) On the earth the Billitonite is transported by rivers and may be abraded.
12) Eventually the Billitonite is incorporated into sediment that also contains tin (eroded from hydrothermal deposits associated with the granite intrusion).
13) In the highly porous sands the acidic fresh waters of Belitung very slowly etch the Billitonite glass. Paper thin cracks (formed due to the glass being heated during atmospheric passage) are enlarged to U-grooves. Note that the U-grooves only form on the anterior (front) of the tektite, which was heated. The posterior surface retains it’s original spherical shape. Due to the acidic waters, tektites from Belitung are generally more heavily etched than tektites from other localities. This helps to give them a unique appearance and common 'mushroom-like' projections.
14) People mine for tin and discover Billitonites.
15) People claim they are magical and mysterious. Magical/lucky stones are often associated with rarity.
kalo besi meteornya yang saya tahu sangat jarang sekali disini, pakar keris indo pada belinya di amrik, yg di ebay, kalo ga salah nama tempatnya campo del cielo.
