    Supertech Pistons are manufactured from extruded high silicone, enhanced 4032 alloy (with additional Cu, Ni & Mg) that had low thermal expansion, excellent wear resistance and higher thermal conductivity.
    A two or three step forging process yields a fine structural grain which are then submitted to several machining steps in state of the art CNC machines.
    Several heat treatments provide the piston with high tensile strength and evenly distributed hardness.
    Contact reduction grooves are standard, and pin bores are honed and reamed for precise fit. Wrist pins are constructed of cold extruded chrome molly steel for high strength and used with wire clip locks.

    Finally, the pistons receive a ‘phosphate dry lubricant’ coating to protect the rings against ‘micro-welding’ and enhance lubrication on the skirt/cylinder area.

    P-Series rod and Main bearings are the oldest members of the Clevite 77 performance-bearing family. They're intended for high-revving engines, especially those where the high rpm cause the rod bores to narrow. To compensate for this distortion, they have higher eccentricity and a high crush factor. P-Series bearings are built on hardened-steel backings with extra-thin overlays, and their oil grooves extend all the way around both halves for better oiling.

    Fluidampr Engine Dampers: Fluidampr Engine Dampers are designed to control destructive vibrations which are transfered thru the crankshaft.

    Each time the air/fuel mixture inside a cylinder is ignited, the combustion that occurs creates a torque spike that is applied to the crankshaft through the piston and rod. This torque spike is so severe that it not only turns the crankshaft, it actually twists the crankshaft ahead of its normal rotation and then the crankshaft rebounds. This twisting action is known as torsional vibration. When these torque spikes and forces get into phase with the natural frequency, critical torsional harmonic vibrations occur and can be seriously destructive to the bearings and the crankshaft. Dampers are designed to control those destructive vibrations.

    Critical harmonic vibrations occur numerous times in a engine's operating range. Stock rubber and elastomer-type dampers are frequency sensitive tuned absorbers, and work at only one critical frequency. In the case of a stock rubber damper, it is tuned for a factory engine's critical harmonic vibrations. If you change the mass of pistons, rods, or the crankshaft, you change the natural frequency of the crankshaft assembly; therefore, the stock damper is no longer tuned to the new frequency of vibration, and you may be headed for early failure of expensive engine components. Dampers also create heat while they work, and rubber is a poor dissipator of heat. This heat and the exposure to the elements deteriorates rubber, causing it to crack and change durometer, which then leads to inertia ring slippage, damper failure, uncontrolled torsional vibration, and costly engine parts breakage.

    The Cometic MLS gasket is comprised of three layers of Stainless Steel. Cometic uses Stainless steel for increased strength, its ability to rebound and corrosion resistance. The outer layers of the gasket are embossed and coated on both sides with a flouroelastomer rubber based material (Viton) designed to meet the demands of a variety of harsh sealing environments, load conditions and surface finishes. The Viton coating is heat resistant to 2500C or 4820F.

    The center or shim layer of the gasket is comprised of an uncoated Stainless Steel layer, which can be varied to accommodate multiple thickness requirements. The MLS gasket is ideal for both aluminum heads to cast iron blocks and aluminum heads to aluminum blocks.

    The composition of MLS will also withstand the shearing forces created by aluminum heads on cast iron blocks. No re-torque is necessary. By design the MLS gasket promotes an even torque load across the sealing surface allowing for measurable reduced bore distortion.

    One of the belt’s major design improvements is the pitch, or the distance between belt teeth. The Gates belt has an 11mm pitch. Until the new belt became available, most teams used either 14mm or 8mm pitch belts. The advantage of the 14mm is its strength, but the 8mm belt offers more speed ratio choices. The new 11mm belt is a combination of the two says Brent Oman, a Gates Power Transmission engineer.

    The AEM High Flow Fuel Pump is designed for in-tank mounting for use with gasoline and features a compact 39mm diameter that fits most applications. It has an offset inlet design that eases installations and includes a wiring harness, pre filter, internal fuel hose and clamps, end cap and rubber buffer sleeve.     AEM High Volume Fuel Rails are CNC machined from 6061 T-6 billet aluminum and feature a 1/2-inch fuel bore capable of flowing enough fuel to support most high-performance engines. This larger bore also dampens the back pulse created by oversized injectors in high-output applications. The AEM fuel rail also works perfectly with stock injectors.

    Each fuel rail includes an additional port for the installation of a nitrous set-up or external fuel pressure gauge. The ends of the fuel rail are tapped to accept either -6 or -8 line and a custom fitting allows for the use of the stock fuel hose. AEM's High Volume Fuel Rail kit includes new injector O-rings, fuel line fittings, comprehensive installation instructions and AEM decals.

Manufactured by Essex Industries, these regulators have fluorosilicone diaphragm material for extended life and high temperature protection. They are compatible with all grades of gasoline/methanol.

    Magnecor's KV85 Competition (8.5mm) Ignition Cables feature Magnecor's exclusive 2.5mm high capacity Metallic Inductance EMI Suppressed conductor consisting of stainless steel wire precisely wound at 200 turns per inch over a ferrimagnetic core. The insulating jacket is made entirely of Magnecor's exclusive TC-1500-HS high strength aerospace grade silicone rubber, and its single layer construction will prolong the jacket's insulating ability by conducting extreme heat away from hot-spots that occur near over-the-limit heat sources.

    The KV85 8.5mm jacket has a service heat resistance of 600 degrees F (320 degrees C) and up to 1,000 degrees F (540 degrees C) for short burst 3 minutes. Even if limits are exceeded, the silicone rubber will retain its insulating ability until wires are removed from engine.

For more protection, these windings are encased in a polyurethane compound for complete protection against vibration. The Blaster SS features brass terminals and a sturdy Rynite housing. It is supplied with a 90 boot, terminal and vibration mounts. A great addition to CD Ignitions and some stock applications.
