    throtle body katanya ada yg jual buat step 1 sampe 3, ini buat meningkatkan perfoma mesin ..tapi gw kurang ngerti ...
    trus injector yg lebih besar cc nya bisa juga meningkatkan performa tapi apa semua yg lebih besar pasti bikin kenceng

    Throttle body (TB) kan kaya regulator yang ngatur berapa banyak udara yang masuk. Jadi kalo kita nginjek pedal gas, sebenernya kita ngebuka throttle body. Makin dalem nginjek pedalnya makin gede juga terbukanya, makin banyak udara yg masuk.

    Well, that's the theory, but the question that you want to ask is 'when do we need to upgrade our TB?'

    Usually people upgrade their TB when they need more air. When do we need more air?
    When we turbocharged our car, we definitely need more air thus installing a bigger diameter TB is needed. But upgrading the TB will affect the amount of air that flow to the cylinder. The extra air inside the cylinder needs extra fuel, thus we have to adjust the amount of fuel that we spray into the cylinders by adjusting the fuel map in the ECU. Otherwise we will run 'lean' and more prone to detonation. Again, your motor doesn't like detonation..

    Same with the TBs, we want to upgrade our injectors when we need more fuel.

    Bigger injectors spray more fuel. But we couldn't just slapped in a bigger injectors to increase fuel supply, as the injectors are controlled by the electrical pulses sent by ECUs as their means of communications.

    Example, with the same pulse, a 440cc injectors will spray almost twice as much fuel to your cylinders compared to the stock 240cc injector. It will cause your motor to run extremely rich, which could leads to engine stall, horrible emission, and more frequent trips to gas station.
    We need a way to tell the ECU to adjust its pulse in order for the injectors to be able to supply the right amount of fuel. It means that we need a programmable ECU.
    A piggy back computer will shorten the length of pulse from your stock ECU to 0.54 times of the original pulse, to compensate for bigger injector.

    So unless you already need more air/fuel and have a programmable ECU, upgrading TB and injectors are better left as a last mod.
