    para suru honda di modcom yang saya segani..mo tanya nie
    kenapa di sini banyak yg lebih mengoptimalkan head P08 dibanding P2J...
    padahal dalam kondisi std mesin d16y8(head P2J) lebih unggul 2hp di banding mesin d16z6(head P08 )
    oia ni gw kutip dikit dari situs luar yg ngebandingin antara 3 mesin d series d16a6, d16z6 n d16y8

    Camshaft Specs
    Special Note:You can use a D16Z Cam in a D16Y Head but you have to use the Cam Gear from a D16Z because it'll be a 1/2 timing tooth off..same goes for D16Y cam in D16Z Head,just use Cam Gear for a D16Y..Do NOT buy any aftermarket Cam Gear for a D16Y from a company if they only have one Cam Gear available for the 88 thru 00 Ds.I recommend and use a AEM Gear,they have the right Cam Gears for 88-95s and 96-00s

    dari yg gw baca di atas terlihat mesin d16y8 lebih unggul sedikit,tetapi knapa banyak pemakai d series mengganti head p08??bahkan ferio pun yg mesin stdnya dah d16y8 banyak yg ganti k p08

    mungkin krn di p08 vtecnya udah murni, sedangkan di p2j msh banci (vtec-e)
    jadi mesin d16y8 bisa dimaksimalin dengan pake p08.

    iya yah tp gw bingung jg kok engine bawaan p08 cuma 125hp

    ehm...
    gw rasa vtec pada d series gada yg murni d,coz banyak yang bilang klo mo rasain vtec sejati ya di mesin dohc...
    tapi klo diliat spec head yang membedakan cuma durasi cam ( P08 lebih tinggi) dan volume chamber (P08 lebih besar)
